Shining Star Award Each month the Madison Governing Board recognizes the work of an outstanding support staff member. November 2006
Patty Garcia came to the Madison District in 1996 as a caterer on the Rose Lane Campus. Ms. Garcia has also worked at Camelview and Simis before coming to #1 in 2005 to be the Food Services Manager. She has constantly worked to improve her skills, particularly in the area of technology. According to Kristin Soulsby, Food Services Director, “Patty strives to do her very best for the students and staff of Madison #1 by offering high quality foods, increased choices of fruits and vegetables, and a friendly customer oriented staff.” Patty is a wonderful role model to students and a great representative of the Madison School District. Madison #1 is proud to have her on staff. Congratulations Patty! |
