The Madison Elementary School District is renowned for its strong tradition of academic excellence. Providing an outstanding education since 1890, Madison is the finest in public education. Our district is made up of eight schools and serves grades Preschool-8^th.  

We are proud of the academic excellence that exists in our schools. Madison enriches core academics with a complete curriculum focused on empowering our students to think critically. The education we provide is enhanced by the amazing programs, services, and extra curricular activities Madison offers.

We welcome all students to our district, including those who live outside the district boundaries. Located near the Central and Camelback Corridors, Madison has become the district of choice for parents commuting to the area for work. In fact, 20% of our student populations live outside of the district.

The Madison School District accepts applications at all times of the year, and students may begin or transfer in at any time. Enrollment applications are located in each school office and at the District Office, 5601 North 16th Street or download a pdf version here .

General Enrollment Information

To enroll your child in a Madison school, please pick up a registration packet at any of our schools or district office.

For students that are transferring from another school, Madison will request records from the previous school once registration is completed.

Students must meet state age and health requirements. Arizona law requires that students must provide verification that immunizations have been completed before starting school. Each student's immunization records remain in the school system once enrolled. Each time the child receives another immunization, the health file should be updated.
